Achieving growth
Engaged 360 was founded with the vision of making a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing unique challenges. As parents ourselves, we understand the struggles and stress that come with raising children with special needs. Additionally, we recognize the difficulties young adults face during transitional periods in their lives. Our personal experiences and passion for helping others drove us to establish Engaged 360 as a platform to provide much-needed support and guidance to these customer segments.

Coaches are vital in helping families navigate changes by providing support, guidance, and resources to adapt and thrive. They can help families navigate through transitions such as divorce, remarriage, or death and assist with parenting, conflict resolution, and balancing work and family life. By offering a safe space for families to express their concerns and providing practical tools and strategies, coaches help families navigate these changes with resilience and dignity.

Our coaches can support and empower families by actively listening to their needs and goals, providing resources and guidance, and facilitating open communication. They can also help create a supportive environment by promoting collaboration and coordination among family members, encouraging self-empowerment and agency, and celebrating successes and milestones. Additionally, our coaches can provide ongoing support, check ins regularly, and offer encouragement and reassurance during times of challenge or transition.

Trust in coaching relationships is built on respect. One way to help families recognize and own their needs is by facilitating open and honest communication within the family. Encouraging family members to express their thoughts, desires, and concerns can create a supportive environment where they feel empowered to assert their needs and wants. Additionally, providing education and resources on self-care and self-determination can help families develop a sense of agency and make choices that align with their values and goals.

Our coaches know that every family has strengths. As a result, our coaches will help families identify their strengths and then work with them to develop them and enhance others' strengths by utilizing resources for self-care and self-determination including:
-
Providing access to mental health services.
-
Offering workshops or classes on stress management and personal development.
-
Providing resources for physical exercise and healthy lifestyle choices.
-
Facilitating support groups or networks for individuals to explore and share their self-care practices.

Additionally, our coaches can help families connect with community organizations or resources that offer specialized assistance for financial management, career guidance, or legal issues.

To address and mitigate implicit bias in family coaching, our coaches actively reflect on their biases and prejudices, acknowledge their existence, and strive to overcome them. They also undergo training or education on cultural competency and diversity awareness to understand systemic biases better. Additionally, coaches can establish open and non-judgmental relationships with families, create a safe space for open and honest communication, and actively seek input and perspectives from all family members. Lastly, coaches regularly evaluate and revise their practices and approaches to ensure they are inclusive and equitable for all families.
Our coaches identify and overcome their biases by regularly reflecting on their beliefs and assumptions, actively seeking feedback and input from families, and engaging in ongoing professional development and training focused on cultural competency and diversity awareness. They also create a safe space for open and honest communication, actively listen to families, and challenge their stereotypes and assumptions. By continuously reflecting on their biases and actively working against them, coaches can ensure an inclusive and equitable approach to their work with families.
Agility is developed in coaching through continuous learning and self-reflection. Our coaches stay updated on new research, strategies, and approaches in family work to ensure they are meeting the needs of families. Our coaches actively listen to families, adapt their approach when needed, and stay open to new perspectives and ideas. By being flexible, responsive, and continuously learning, coaches can develop agility in their coaching style to effectively support families.
